Meet Dr. Bilal. He just wrapped up a grueling but rewarding one-year house job in Lahore. His eyes are set on securing a competitive General Surgery slot in the upcoming June 2026 Induction through the central residency portal. He cleared his FCPS Part 1 months ago. But when the application portal finally opens, panic sets in. He realizes his PMDC registration has expired, he hasn’t collected his NOC, and his basic life support credentials are nowhere to be found.
The clock is ticking. The portal will close soon, and missing a single document means waiting another six months—wasting precious time.
Whether you are in Dr. Bilal’s shoes aiming for a specialized residency in Lahore, Rawalpindi, or Islamabad, planning to switch to a well-paying private hospital, or packing your bags for the PLAB or USMLE journey abroad, your paperwork needs to be flawless.
Managing residency program milestones is no joke. The competition is tough, and hospitals expect you to be fully prepared on day one. To help you get your files in order, we have put together the complete June Induction 2026 checklist.

The Essential Documents Checklist for June 2026
Before you even log into the residency portal, gather these documents and scan them clearly. Blurry or incomplete uploads are the number one reason candidates get pushed to the grievance committee.
- Valid PMDC Registration: If your registration is expired and you have applied for renewal, keep the portal screenshot ready. Otherwise, get it renewed immediately.
- House Job Completion Certificate: You need the official certificate showing a full 12 months of rotation.
- FCPS Part 1 or JCAT Passing Result: Make sure your result is within the accepted validity period (usually the last three years).
- Detailed Marks Certificates (DMCs): Keep all your MBBS/BDS marks sheets from first to final professional exams ready.
- CNIC and Domicile: Scan both the front and back of your CNIC and Domicile. Yes, even if the back of the domicile is blank, the system usually requires it.
- Recent Profile Picture: Keep a professional, blue or white background passport-sized photo in digital format.
NOC Requirements for Government Employees
If you are currently an employee of the Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department (P&SHC), Specialized Healthcare, or any public sector hospital in Punjab, Islamabad, or Rawalpindi, you absolutely need a No Objection Certificate (NOC). Without this, your application will simply not be processed. Apply for this through your administrative department weeks in advance because government paperwork takes time.
Why AHA BLS & ACLS Give You the Winning Edge
Here is something many young doctors overlook until the last minute: life support training. Once you secure your induction, you are immediately thrown onto the hospital floor. Training committees and head of departments expect their postgraduate residents (PGRs) to handle cardiac emergencies.
This is where holding valid certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) becomes your biggest advantage. In many top-tier hospitals across Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Islamabad, having your BLS and ACLS is a mandatory requirement before you even start your clinical rotations.
We recommend enrolling in the AHA BLS Certification Course in Lahore well before your induction starts so you aren’t scrambling for a seat during the busy application week.
Going Abroad or Switching Jobs?
Not everyone applies for local residency. Many young Pakistani doctors use the June period to switch to high-paying private sector jobs or apply for overseas pathways.
For PLAB, USMLE, and Gulf exams (DHA/HAAD): International medical councils strictly require internationally recognized life-saving credentials. A local hospital certificate won’t cut it. You need the official AHA certification. Taking the AHA ACLS Certification Course in Lahore ensures your CV meets global standards.
